2014 Stormy Weather
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored and delivers notions of blackcurrant cordial, blackberries and plum preserves with touches of cedar chest, pencil lead, lavender and bay leaves plus a waft of cinnamon stick. Full-bodied, wonderfully rich, concentrated and plush, it has bags of vivacity and a long spicy finish. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2031. 96 Points—Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Wine Advocate Jan 2018)

Fermented in small format stainless steel tanks. Cold soaked 4 days prior to fermentation. Temperature maintained below 80 degrees with a post ferment extended maceration of an additional 5 days. Malolactic fermentation occurred in barrel with aging on lees for at least 1 year.
Winemaker Notes
The 2014 Stormy Weather is a more ethereal, elegant Cabernet that has lots of purity in its crème de cassis, white flowers, toasted spices, and graphite aromas and flavors. Hitting the palate with medium to full body, silky tannins, and perfect balance, it’s one of those wines that grows on you with time in the glass. Drink it any time over the coming 15+ years.
